Ordinary Beautiful day..Happy 30th Wedding Anniversary Mom & Dad!
I'd like to take a moment of personal privilege to wish my parents a very Happy 30th Wedding Anniversary today. ….30 years! wow, that just blows me away.
They started dating when they were in secondary school and got married when my dad were 22yrs old and mom were 19yrs old. They had 5 kids, I'm the eldest of my siblings..I have two brothers and two sisters. They (my parents) have both lived and grew up in Tenom,Sabah and I myself have lived most of my life in Kota Kinabalu . So today I wish them all the best…love you both!
Now, of course, I'm sharing all this with my husband (Martin) and my new baby son (Ryan). And in every case it is a slightly different relationship, with a slightly different impact. I don't know what path my kids will walk.
But I know Mom and Dad gave me a rock to stand on. I'm hoping to offer that same rock to my own kids.
And I hope -- and intend -- that my husband and I will someday be where they are now, looking back on a life that filled with love, love of children, of son-in-law and daughter-in-law(soon to be), of grandchild, of friends, but above all to the Lord. Once again mom & dad...
Happy 30th Wedding Anniversary !!
Loves & hugs from;
your eldest daughter, son-in-law Martin and grandson RyanPosted by Carolyn Chong Norsäter at 07:32 1 comments
